![]() Ancient weapons are a significant advantage. ![]() Previously, I would've said yes for weapons that come from large pools. ![]() This season, in particular, with double legendaries and double primals, it's going to be a gear bonanza.Īre 4 shots at getting a better rolled item worth it? ![]() And by the time you've banked a ton of souls and a build that can farm a hundred caches an hour with a group you've taken the time to cultivate, you probably don't have a great need for it anymore. Early on, it's a terrible waste of time to run a ton of bounties because it offers the slowest possible progression (eg, you can easily get bogged down farming them in low torments and NEVER reach the end-game proper). It's extremely expensive in both bounty mats and especially forgotten souls. Now that you can craft a primal weapon or offhand for each character, reforging is less practical than ever before. Normally I only have whatever I stashed from the weekly challenge rift at the season end, maybe 500 or so of each. That’s 15000 total bounty materials, the vast majority of which were from the now-ended holiday event that started a few months ago. ![]() In addition I burned all of my white/yellow/blue mats on upgrading rare daggers for the Karlei’s Point. I was somewhat successful with the first (double crit but no elemental damage) but not the second. When you have maxxed out your paragons, all your gear is ancient and fully augmented but you still want to make last refinements to your push builds for one or two items, that’s when reforging comes in.įor example in Season 27 I burned 3000 of each bounty material reforging for a better Squirt’s Necklace, and Karlei’s Point. Generally speaking bounties are a waste of time once you get your patterns for the smith and jeweler plus a few needed items, and you should focus entirely on speedfarming greater rifts. ![]()
